Thanks, Anne! Leia, in theory the next thing (next, as in many, many months from now) that happens is we receive a phone call and then an email with a referral. But we're planning on changing our requested age range, so we actually have more paperwork ahead. The good news is that now that we are on the list, while we are redoing the paperwork we are still moving up the list.
Yes! I remember this moment all too well. It IS a BIG deal. Celebrate, enjoy and take a breath; you deserve it.There is such relief in knowing it's official. Welcome to the Wait!
Hello, I just kind of "stumbled" onto your blog while I was blog-hopping today. I too am agnostic, and waiting to adopt. Originally I too was planning an ET adoption but have since changed directions and am persuing an African American domestic adoption. Good luck on your journey! Laura meandmylittle4.blogspot.com

I know that now there's a wait but I'm wondering what the next thing that happens is - a letter arrives with a name and a photo?
ReplyDeleteThanks, Anne!
