adoption in Ethiopia

We did not know how popular adoption from Ethiopia had become until we had already settled on the country. Anything that will tighten adoption regulations in a such a fast-growing program is good news. If our adoption is delayed because of it, I'd rather have that than concerns that my adoption was unethical.

  1. Thia is a really good step! I hope they act on it and do so very quickly before any more children are hurt by unethical agencies and immoral people.

  2. I wish more paps felt the way you do. I'm very hopeful this will be a step in the right direction at putting some of the truly unethical agencies out of business.

  3. Hi Kyra,

I just came across your blog through another blog and I must say how refreshing it is to see a more 'non religious' blog on adoption!!! This is something I have found very frustrating! Like you, I have nothing against those who feel that way, but I don't like to see it being the driving force for an adoption! I will definitely be following you! :-)
